ADVANTAGES:
Sole universal alloy for all cast iron applications. Not necessary to preheat in most applications. Perfect color, equal to that of cast iron. High tensile strength.
SPECIAL PROPERTIES:
Not machinable. Tensile strength: 65,000 psi.
APPLICATIONS:
Must be used when crack free welding is required on all kind of cast irons altered by heat such as furnace and grid parts, manifolds, heat exchanger pieces, etc. Perfect as filler for cast iron where precision machining is not required. May be used to weld cast iron to steel.
